Prime Minister Ingraham’s New Year’s Address to the Nation

Although the Prime Minister makes NO mention of any formal POLICY creation concerning our present and future relationship with Haiti, he begins his statement by acknowledging the devastation of the Earthquake and encouraging the continued support of the private sector and the christian communities here in the Bahamas.

I hope that the placement of the statement on Haiti  within his address is an indication of the importance of the earthquake and its relevant issues in his and our government’s agenda…
